[Moving my Paperbacks] IngramSpark ebooks

Post by stacy734 » Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:46 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm moving all my paperbacks to IngramSpark and adding ebooks to some that didn't have them. I see that some ebooks have a button on the Amazon page "Buy now with 1-click" and others don't. Any idea why?

No biggie, just curious about the mysteries of Amazon.

I added a tag to your post.

Is there a major reason why you're moving all of your paperback books from CS to IS? Is the reason which more of us should probably be aware of? Personally, I don't like the way color photos end up looking in my IS books.

Hi Stacy, not sure about the one click thing, but may have to do with Kindle Select?

Hi Dan,

I'm moving my technical books to IS because some of them have been translated into Japanese, and KDP print won't accept Japanese paperbacks. (They do accept Japanese ebooks, though.)

I also haven't been delighted with the repeated suppressions, reinstatements, and re-suppressions. I'm hoping IS doesn't do stuff like that. Does anyone know if they do?

My only color images are simple diagrams, they will probably be adequate quality.

I hope you all are well!

Stacy

Stacy,

I have never heard of IS/LS doing this in the 9 years I’ve used their services. CS is the only one to suppress books, AFAIK.

Thanks Michelle. So far it seems they've been fairly straightforward.

HELLO

Does anyone know of any information about moving to Cyprus as a Paraplanner and any details of any recruitment agencies. Or just general advice on working out there?
thanks

This is a forum for independent authors and self-publishers. You do not seem to be in the right place for such a question.
